Bilal Sayeedi and Bilal Sami special give Afghanistan only youth test famous win

The only four-day youths’ test match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh under-19 teams was played in which Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by three wickets.
 
Bangladesh under-19s team won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh scored 162 runs in their first innings and lost all wickets, as Mollah made 39 runs, Iftikhar Hossain 37, and Meherob scored 28. For Afghanistan, Bilal Sami claimed his first ever a haul of five wickets, Izharulhaq Naveed produced a big-spinning beauty to get four wickets of his own and Kamran Hotak one.


It didn't take long for Afghanistan U19s to strike, started the day hopeful of pulling off their first innings and  concluded the innings with scoring 281 runs by losing all their wickets and recieved a 119-run first-innings lead. On the Afghanistan side, Bilal Saeedi made 114 runs, Kamran Hotak 66, and Faisal Khan Ahmadzai scored 39 runs consistently for Afghanistan.

In the 2nd innings, Bangladesh U19s were bowled out all for 228, with Nabil 76, Mollah 40, and Meherob 30 runs and set a 110-run target for the Afghan team. After fine individual performances from Afghan bowlers  had forced them back into the game, Azharul Haq Naveed took four, Bilal Sami three, Nangyal Kharotia two and Zahidullah Salimi one wickets comparatively.

For Afghanistan, Bilal Saeedi who came into the side, acquitted himself well with a top-score of 54 in the second innings. One thing looks assured though, given Afghanistan`s team bench strength and dominance in this only youth test. Bilal Sayedi was declared the man of the match for his excellent batting.
