BAND-E AMIR DRAGONS REGISTER FIRST VICTORY
A great half-century by Man of the Match Javed Ahmadi and terrific bowling performance earlier meant Band-e Amir Dragons beat DailyFresh Amo Sharks by seven wickets to register their first victory of Shpageeza Cricket League 2019.

Ahmadi and Afsar Zazai put on an unbeaten partnership of 89 runs for the fourth wicket scoring 62 and 37 runs respectively as they successfully chased the target of 121 in 17.1 overs and gave their team its first win of the season.
Earlier in the day, Sharks skipper Shapoor Zadran won the toss and opted to bat first in the sixth match of the tournament. The Dragons’ bowlers were amazing from the outset and returned successful figures overall. Fareed Ahmad Malik was the pick of the lot taking 3 wickets giving away only 20 runs while Nijat Masood and Zahir Shahzad took two wickets each.
Paragon Band-e Amir Dragons will play their next match against Speenghar Tigers on 12th October while the Sharks will face Bost Defenders tomorrow.
