Bamyan and Samangan win the ninth day matches in Grade II

Bamyan beat Herat by 10 wickets while Samangan went through Parwan Provincial teams to win the match by 60 runs in the two existing and one-sided matches played in Nangarhar’s Ghazi Amanullah Khan and Khost Cricket Grounds.

In the first match in Ghazi Amanullah Khan Ground, Sulaiman Arab of Samangan smashed terrific century 138 as his team bowled out for 262 in just 38th over.

Parwan's Shahidullah and Mohmadullah Hamkar were notable with the fiery spells picking up 5 & 3 wickets respectively but Sulaiman Arab of Samagan awarded man of the match. In the response, Parwan bundled out for 202 in the 38th over despite fighting half-centuries by Amjad Shinwari and Captain Irfanullah Safi top-scored 80 & 50 respectively.

In the second match of the day at Khost, Bamyan team were all over the opponent to bowled out Herat for 212 and then chased down the target in style with 10 wickets in hand. Bamyan opener Sulaiman Safi remains unbeaten on 102 while is partner contributed with unbeaten 82 runs.
