Amo make it to the final of GAK Regional One Day Tournament

In the 10th match of GAK Regional One day Tournment Amo beat Band-e-Amir by 7 wickets and make their way into the final.

Amo won the toss and decided to field first. Band-e-Amir made 180/9 in their complete 50 overs setting a target of 181. Asif Musazai was the pick of the batsmen for Band-e-Amir who made a wonderful 89 runs on the back of 2 sixes and 3 fours off 121 balls.

At the same time, ShafiqUllah Ghafari made 26, HashmatUllah Shahidi 15 and Mohammad Sardar 14 runs. Amo bowlers Nangial Kharotai took 3, AzmatUllah Omarzai and Mirwais Ashraf 2, Sharafuddin Ashraf and Jamshed Khan took 1 wicket each.

Amo chased down the target comfortably in 32.1 overs for the loss of 3 wickets thus registering a 7 wicket victory and making the way into the final.

Amo batsmenJawed Ahamdi made 74, Zahid Zakhel 54 and Afsar Zazai unbeaten 22. Band-e-Amir bowlers Hamza Hotak took 2 and Nejat Masoud took 1 wicket. Amo skipper Jawed Ahmadi was selected as man of the match for his winning knock of 74. The semi final between Mis-e-Ainak and Band-e-Amir will be played tomorrow at Kandahar Cricket Stadium.
