Amo Beat Mis Ainak to Stay Alive in the Event

Asghar Atal (55) made a half-century before Darwish Rasooli (41*) and Baheer Shah (36) contributed well with the bat as Amo Sharks beat the Mis Ainak Knights by 5 wickets to keep them alive in the playoff race.

Earlier in the morning, Ihsanullah Janat won the toss and opted to field first. Mis-e-Ainak Knights, banking on a well-made 63 from the skipper Asghar Afghan and an odd 30 from Allah Noor, managed to put 152/5 in 20 overs. The left-arm quick duo of Abidullah Taniwal and Faridoon Dawoodzai picked up two wickets each.

Amo Sharks lost Ihsanullah early but Asghar Atal (55) made a brisk half-century and kept the Sharks in the chase, Bahir Shah Mahboob (36) and Darwish Rasooli (41*) managed to take the Sharks over the line to keep their hope of qualification alive. Mir Hamza and Zahir Khan both took two wickets each but were not able to stop the Sharks from crossing over the line.

Asghar Atal was adjudged the player of the match, Darwish Rasooli was awarded both Stylish and the Game Changer whereas Asghar Afghan won the most sixes award of the match.
