AFGHANISTAN CRICKET BOARD AND KARDAN UNIVERSITY SIGN MOUS

ACB and Kardan University today signed two MoUs on the basis of which the university will serve as the main jersey sponsor as well as help in capacity building and education of the officials in both organizations.

As per the first agreement, Kardan University was awarded the main jersey sponsorship of Afghanistan's upcoming T20I series against the West Indies. According to the second agreement between both parties, Kardan University will provide higher education as well as capacity-building opportunities for the ACB staff and players. On the other hand, ACB will provide opportunities for the Students at Kardan University to learn the sport of cricket as well as provide merit students internship opportunities at ACB.

ACB CEO Mr. Lutfullah Stanikzai appreciated the cooperation between both entities and expressed his pleasure that ACB is associated with an academic institution. He expressed hope that the mutual cooperation between the organizations will be a long-term one.

Kardan University's Chancellor, Mr. Royeen Rahmani also expressed his happiness over the association with ACB and said they hoped that the cooperation will continue in the future as well. Mr. Rahmani also agreed that Kardan university will provide capacity-building opportunities including workshops and training for ACB employees.
