ACB CEO meets Afghan ambassador to Sri Lanka

ACB CEO Dr. Hamid Shinwari met Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Mr. Ashraf Haidari at his office as they discussed important issues concerning cricket.

Mr. Shinwari shared his insights on Afghanistan Cricket Board’s long term vision, cricket development plans and cordial relations with other Asian Cricket boards.

Mr. Haidari, who has also served as Afghanistan’s non-resident representative for Maldives, Nepal and Bhutan, reciprocated Mr. Shinwari’s commitment and emphasized on further cooperation between ACB and Sri Lankan Cricket Board. He added that both ACB and SLC can engage in technical capacity building opportunities for umpires, coaches and other aspects of the game.

ACB CEO expressed his thanks to Mr. Ambassador for his keen interest in the further development of Afghan cricket and ensured him of ACB’s full coordination.
