ACB Administrative Staff given due instructions by Chairman in vital weekly meeting

ACB chairman Mr.Farhan Yusefzai held a weekly meeting today with the administrative staff as the officials reported their relevant tasks from the previous week and also shared their plans for the coming week.

During the meeting, the Chairman gave relevant instructions to various officials. Mr. Raees Ahmadzai, ACB's Director of Cricket was instructed to hold weekly meetings for better coordination between the national team captain and the national coaches. In addition he stated that more attention should be directed at the physical fitness of national players.

Ms. Tuba Sangar, Head of the Women's Cricket Department, was instructed to expedite her work for the promotion of women's cricket, so that more necessary facilities could be created for them in the future resulting in strong female cricketers capable of being awarded contracts. ACB Chairman directed Tuba Singer to set up a separate social media accounts to promote women's cricket and share more stories, updates and news in coordination with ACB Media Department.

Mr. Nisar Ahmad Amiri, Head of Human Resources Department, was asked to hold meetings with the concerned departments to address their problems and look at what facilities they require. It was also recommended that their staff should be re evaluated as such to see what skills they required and organize capacity development opportunities for them.

Mr. Sadiq Nusrat, head of the Complaints Department, was directed to pay serious attention to the complaints of the people, players as well as administrative staff and share the report of the representatives sent to Nangarhar with him as soon as possible as legal actions in accordance with the ACB principles should be taken.

Mr. Hamid Rashidi, Head of Administrative Department, was instructed to monitor the ground work of the new stadium with external and internal departments and to prepare his report as soon as possible to identify the land for the new stadium in Kabul and share the work plan with the people.

Mr. Minhaj-ud-Din Raz, Head of Operations, was instructed by the ACB Chairman to follow up on the upcoming international tours and matches with the International Cricket Council (ICC) and develop plan and recommendations on organizing the games with a number of full members of ICC. Mr. Yusefzai also asked for the latest details on the progress of the next round of the Afghanistan Premier League T20 and issued necessary instructions in this regard.

Mr. Ehsan Obaid, Head of Domestic Cricket Department, was instructed to provide more facilities required to all the provinces and facilitate organizing domestic games. He was asked to share the work report of the zonal and provincial representatives with the Human Resources Department. He was also told to take all technical aspects of the List-A competitions seriously.

Mr. Siddiqullah Ahmadzai, Head of the Engineering Department, was instructed to take legal action against all the contractors who did not complete the stadium work on time in the provinces and to closely monitor the stadium work on time. Mr. Atiq Abbas, Head of the Finance Department, was instructed to prepare the budget for the coming year in a well-organized manner and to clear the financial accounts with all foreign agencies by the end of this year.

Mr. Iqbal Stanikzai, Head of Facilities and Security, was instructed to further streamline the security plans of the Central and Provincial Bodies of the Cricket Board and coordinate their activities in with concerned security agencies. The security and facilities official was also told to properly monitor and maintain cricket board facilities in the capital and provinces.

Mr. Hekmat Hassan, ACB Media Manager, was instructed to continue sharing all the relevant cricketing activities and updates with the people as usual and maintain the coverage of domestic matches on international as well as domestic media.

Mr. Firdous Ghani, Head of Game Development, was asked to ensure the registration of all the private academies with special attention to be focused on inter-club competitions as well as school cricket. He was directed to provide necessary training courses for umpires, coaches, scorers, and video analysts. Mr. Naji-ur-Rehman Azizi, Senior Officer, Marketing Department, was advised to hold regular meetings with the companies interested in main sponsorship and to share the results with him as soon as possible.

Mr. Farhan Yousafzai concluded the meetinf by thanking the officials of all departments for their honest and responsible conduct. He once again called on all to work hard for further transparency and efficiency in ACB.
