The National Blind Cricket Team Finalized

The Afghanistan National Blind Cricket 16-member squad is finalized to participate Blind Cricket T20 World Cup 2024, set to take place from November 23 to December 3 in Pakistan.
The Afghanistan Blind Association started the process 2 months ago in collaboration with Afghanistan Domestic Cricket Department, taking an open trail in all the regions of Afghanistan where 50 players were selected in the initial squad. After one-month camp, 24 players were selected that started a second camp in Najibullah Tarakai Cricket Academy in Nangarhar. After a month of training camp and intra-squad matches, 16 members were selected to the final squad, eventually.
The 16-member squad is as below:
Abaseen Selab (C), Fahim (VC), Sharafat (WK), Farmanullah, Samiullah, Abdullah, Asadullah, Ghulam Khan, Baryalai Sahil, Sardar Wali, Abdul Malik, Ajmal, Rohullah, Dawran, Ezatullah, and Zabihullah.
Nazim Jar Abdurrahimzai, ACB Domestic Cricket Manager said, " We strongly support this team and facilitated them with their training camps very well. They are blind but are very able and we believe in their abilities to perform and represent Afghanistan very well in the Blind T20 Cricket World Cup".
The Afghanistan Cricket Board is committed to support PWDs and Blind Cricket in Afghanistan and will facilitate them in cricket services to represent the country on international level.
