The Eighth edition of the XBull Regional List A Tournament begins August 20

Kabul – August 04, 2025: The eighth edition of the XBull Regional List A Tournament is set to begin on August 20, 2025. This event will feature five regional teams competing in a round-robin format from August 20 to September 6 at the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket Ground in Khost Province.

The tournament will kick off with the Speenghar Region facing the Amo Region on August 20. The other three participants—Mis-e-Ainak Region, Bost Region, and Band-e-Amir Region—will also be vying for the title. Each participating team will play six matches in the round-robin stage, and a total of 16 matches will be played over 18 days, with the final being scheduled for September 6.

This year's tournament will showcase national-level players as well as outstanding domestic talents, which will provide the Afghanistan Cricket Board with the opportunity to offer valuable exposure and excellent playing prospects for young and emerging cricketers.

Super Cola Beverages Manufacturing Company has secured the title sponsorship rights for the event, and will promote their XBull Energy brand.

As a crucial part of Afghanistan's domestic cricket structure, the Regional List A Tournament plays a significant role in the development of players and the growth of cricket in the country.
