ICC-ACB Level-3 Coaching Course Underway in UAE

The Afghanistan Cricket Board, in full collaboration with the International Cricket Council - ICC, launched a Level-3 Coaching Course for 12 Level-2 Certified Afghan Coaches on Friday.

The seven-day workshop, which began yesterday (May 26) in the United Arab Emirates and was attended by several ICC officials, will run through June 1 and will be directly monitored by the International Cricket Council.

The 12 Afghan coaches will be trained by the ICC's professional trainers, who have taught in over 100 previous workshops.

ACB CEO Naseeb Khan welcomed the ICC delegates, trainers, and workshop participants, and regarded the program's launch as an excellent initiative that he hoped would assist Afghanistan Cricket.

"This is a tremendous accomplishment for Afghanistan Cricket in the Technical Field, which was an enormous requirement. Afghanistan Cricket needs further technical strengthening, and having 12 Afghan Level-2 coaches in this course will greatly benefit Afghanistan Cricket. I hope that all participants take full advantage of this opportunity to expand their knowledge and expertise." Naseeb Khan added.

Mr. Ammar Sheikh, Iqbal Sikandar, Aminul Islam, and Abhishek were the ICC representatives who attended the course's opening ceremony and praised the workshop and expressed confidence that it would contribute to Afghanistan Cricket's technical development.

ACB intends to organize additional similar capacity-building workshops for its technical staff, allowing Afghanistan Cricket to advance even further.
