Diva Group Bost Defenders sealed the victory with the last ball of the game

In the 11th game of Etisalat 4G Shpageeza Cricket League today Hazrat Limited Mis-e-Ainak Knights faced Diva Group Bost Defenders that ended with the victory of later by 4 wickets.

Hazrat Limited Mis-e-Ainak Knight’s captain Shahpoor Zadran won the toss and decided to bat first and compiled a mountainous total of 188 in their allotted 20 overs.

Shahzad Mohammadi produced the first hundred of this tournament and remained unbeaten on 106 together with 35 from Ghamai Zadran and blistering 31 from Bahar Ali Shinwari. On the other hand Diva Group Bost Defenders’ only bowler Karim Janat took two wickets.

Starting the chases, Diva Group Bost Defenders’ batsmen chased down the total on the last ball of their innings led by a marvelous unbeaten 54 from their captain Gulbadin Naib who sealed the victory in style and with a boundary over the long on.

IhasanUllah Janat was their second highest scorer with 45. Hazrat Limited Mis-e-Ainak Knights’ bowlers Noor Ahmad Lakanwal took two while Shahpoor Zadran, ShahidUllah Kamal, MohammadUllah Hamkar and AbdUllah Mazari all took one wicket each.

Gulbadin Naib was awarded the man of match and most sixes awards while the stylish player of the day award was given to Shahzad Mohammadi. There will be two games tomorrow as well.

Ayubi Kabul Eagles will take on DFI Band-e-Amir at 0900 while Naweed Ahmadzai Amo Sharks will face Hazrat Limited Mis-e-Ainak Knights at 1330 hrs tomorrow.
