Afghanistan U19 beat UAE U19 by 169 runs

Afghanistan Future Stars beat United Arab Emirates by 169 runs in their second match of tri-nation series.

Afghan skipper Mahboob Taskin won the toss this morning and opted to bat first against United Arab Emirates.

Afghanistan scored a mighty total with yet another brilliant performance and partnership by the top order batters, the skipper Mahboob Taskin and Faisal Khan Shinozada where both batters scored incredible centuries for their teams. Mahboob Taskin was unbeaten by 141 and Faisal Khan scored 156 run and both had major contributions in the grand total of 359/5 in Afghanistan U19 batting innings.

Chasing the target, UAE batters could not resist long on the crease and the whole team was bundled on 190. Ethan and Aryan were the only UAE batters who played well and score 55 and 40 for their team respectively. 

Afghanistan bowlers put a great show in the bowling. Nasrat Nooristani, Nazif Amiri and Khatir Stanekzai each got 2,2 wickets while Naseer Khan and Hafieez Zadran each got 1,1 wickets. The other 2 wickets were run out.
This is the second consecutive win for Afghanistan Future Stars in the series. They will be meeting Pakistan U19 on Wednesday, November 20, in their 3rd match.
