Afghanistan U19 too Strong for Bangladesh U19

Afghanistan U19s have put on an excellent all-round performance to beat the Bangladesh U19 by 158 runs in the first Youth ODI match of the series.
Earlier in the morning, Afghanistan U19s were put into bat first, the call was very well accepted as the Afghanistan batters put on a fine batting show to score 271/6 in their allotted 50 overs. Sohail Khan was the star of the inning, scoring 100* whereas Suliman Arabzai (55) and Mohammad Haroon (43) supported him well to take Afghanistan U19s past 270.
The Afghanistan Future Stars have equally backed up their batting effort as they bundled out the visitors for (113) runs to win the game by (158) runs. Yama Arab (4/29) and Faridoon Dawoodzai (3/32) shared 7 wickets between them whereas Nasir Hassan (2/20) and Kamran Hotak (1/14) returned with some tight bowling figures. Sohail Khan was adjudged the player of the match for his unbeaten 100* off 113 runs.
Afghanistan U19s will meet the Bangladesh U19s in the 2nd game of the two-match Youth ODI series on Wednesday, March 15 at the same venue.
