Afghanistan put on a remarkable all-round display in the three-match T20I series to secure a historic 2-1 series win over Pakistan after winning the first two matches of the series. Although AfghanAtalan lost the third match by 66 runs, Afghanistan's dominant performances in the first two games were enough to claim the series victory.

In the final game of the three-match T20I series, Pakistan were put into bat and posted a challenging total of 182/7 in their 20 overs. Mujeeb (2/28) was the pick of the bowlers for Afghanistan with 2 wickets, whereas Rashid Khan (1/31), Fazal Haq Farooqi (1/25), Fareed Ahmad (1/28), Mohammad Nabi (1/32), and Karim Janat (1/32) took one wicket each.

Chasing the target, Afghanistan didn't manage to replicate the success of the first two games and fell short by 66 runs as they were bundled out at 116 runs in the 19th over. But it was not all doom and gloom for the Afghan team as they secured the series 2-1 with their impressive performances in the first two games.

Pakistan skipper Shadab Khan was awarded the player of the Match for his impressive all-round performance in the third game. Afghanistan’s Senior all-rounder Mohammad Nabi, who scored 69 runs and took three wickets in the series was adjudged the best player of the series.

Even though AfghanAtalan lost the last game, they had a lot of positives to take from the series, with the bowlers and batters delivering match-winning performances. Afghanistan displayed great team spirit, determination, and grit throughout the series and showed that they can compete at the highest level.

Afghanistan can be proud of its efforts and the historic series win over Pakistan, which will be remembered for years to come.
