Afghanistan-A won the two-match first-class series against Bangladesh-A 1- 0 as the second match between both sides ended in a draw.

Having won the toss, Afghanistan had opted to field first. Bangladesh-A were 18/1 when rain interrupted the play which continued to affect the second day as well. After the play was resumed on the third day, the home team scored 200 runs. Mohammad Naeem scored 65 while Raqibul Hasan scored 61 runs. Yamin Ahmadzai, Sharafuddin Ashraf and Qais Ahmad took three wickets each.

Afghanistan-A managed to scored 163/2 as the match was drawn. Ibrahim Zadran top-scored 96 and Bahir Shah remained unbeaten on 52.

Afghanistan-A had won the first four-day match by 7 wickets.

The five-match List-A series between both sides starts on 19th July.
