AfghanAbdalyan beat Sri Lanka A by 11 runs in a thrilling match. After being put into bat first, AfghanAbdalyan put a competitive total off 166/7 on the board with major contributions from the opening pair; Sediq Atal (46) 83 and Zubaid Akbari (54) 57 in the given 20 overs. 

Sri Lanka A had a good start in the batting but could not make it to the end against some excellent bowling of AfghanAbdalyan and were bowled out for 155/10 losing the match by 11 runs.
 
Faridoon got 3, Bilal and Ghazanfar each 2 while Sharafuddin got 1 wicket and contributed well with the ball. Sediq Atal was named player of the match for his wonderful batting.

AfghanAbdalyan will face Bangladesh A this Sunday, 20th of October in their second match of Emerging Asia Cup 2024.
