ACB LEADERSHIP PARTICIPATE IN ASIAN CRICKET COUNCIL AGM

ACB Chairman Mr. Farhan Yusefzai and CEO Mr. Lutfullah Stanikzai participated in Asian Cricket Council (ACC)’s Annual General Meeting held on 2nd and 3rd September in Bangkok, Thailand.

ACB LEADERSHIP PARTICIPATE IN ASIAN CRICKET COUNCIL AGM

The AGM was attended by top-ranked officials from other ACC members as well. The participants discussed the ACC’s 2019-2020 plan as well as Development and operational budget for the same period.

The meeting commenced with the presentation of ACC’s 2018 annual report that emphasized on transparency of affairs and development of the game during the period.

ACB Leadership also provided assurance to the council of its commitment to accountability and transparency in its affairs.

Addressing the meeting, Chairman Farhan Yusefzai reiterated ACB’s commitment and added: “ACB will operate its affairs as per the set standards. We are dedicated to transparency in the organization and assure you that the funds received from ICC and ACC will be allocated appropriately in Cricket development and provision of facilities to our players. “He further added that ACB wants to maintain cordial relations with other Cricket boards.

ACB CEO, Mr. Lutfullah Stanikzai also addressed the meeting and requested the ACC to provide assistance to Physically Disabled teams as well. He also expressed hope that the council continues to provide ACB with technical assistance in the fields of Coaching and Umpiring.

ACB leadership also met their respective counterparts from other full-members of the Council and discussed the organizing of bilateral series between their respective teams in the future.

Afghanistan is scheduled to participate in ACC Asia Cup which will take place in September next year among six teams.
