Biography of Mr. Ehsanullah Obaid, the Event Logistics Management Manager of the Afghanistan Cricket Board
Mr. Ehsanullah Obaid, son of Obaid Ullah, is the current Manager of the Event Logistics Management Department of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, he was born in 1993 in the Panjwai district of Kandahar province.
Mr. Obaid has accomplished his Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Kandahar, Afghanistan. He is a certified Event Management individual and has completed the (Quality and Qualification Ireland - Level 6) course from The Open College, New Delhi, India. In addition to his education, He completed a Diploma in General Management (DGM) from Shirzai Institute of I.T & English Language.
In 2018, Mr. Obaid joined the Afghanistan Cricket Board as Regional Admin and Finance officer in Bost Region. After putting on outstanding performances in the regional office, he was promoted to the Domestic Officer position in the ACB Central office. Obaid exhibited continuous good performances which resulted in his rise to the Assistant Manager Post of the Domestic department and was subsequently promoted to Domestic Cricket Manager in 2020.
As the Domestic Cricket Manager of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, he has contributed to the development of the game domestically by managing & implementing all the cricketing projects related to domestic cricket. He has also successfully executed more than 20 major cricket events of domestic cricket throughout his two-year tenure as the department’s manager. During the recent changes in ACB’s organizational structure, Mr. Obaid was selected as the Manager of the Event Logistics Management department.
In addition, to his experience and personal qualities, he is passionate about the development of the game in the country and is a highly motivated person with good coherent, brainstorming, and communication skills. Mr. Obaid loves working at the Afghanistan Cricket Board.
