Khan Jan Alokozai, a national trader and current vice president of the Afghan chamber of commerce and industry, was born in the Sarkano district of Kunar province. He has accomplished his higher studies in the field of economics and has also served his nation in different capacities such as teacher, district governor, member of different commercial unions and has also occupied different positions in the Afghan Chamber of commerce and industry.

Mr. Alokozai also has the experience of working in the business, financial, legal, and customs sectors. He has also composed a few business-related articles which were published in national journals. Alokozai loves his profession and wishes to continue serving in his field. He admires seeing the improvement and more development of the economic sector of the country.

Mr. Khan Jan has the pride of winning two awards and 5 medals for his services in the business sector, as well as was being awarded two appreciation letters during the presidential tenancy of Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan.

Mr. Khan Jan Alokozai is pleased and eager to be a Board Member of the Afghanistan Cricket Board. He likes watching and following the great game of cricket. He believes that the rapid rise of the game in the country is the result of the hard yards that the national players have put in. He trusts that the Afghans must be provided with more opportunities to reveal their talents and abilities to the world.  

As a board member, he alongside other members of the board will strive hard to convince other national traders and private companies to invest in Afghanistan Cricket and bring more sponsors to the organization and to the National team. According to him, the game of cricket has a positive impact on nation-building and effects in uniting the younger generations of the country.
