The role of the Anti-Corruption Manager is a key role and shall work under the guidance & supervision of Afghanistan Cricket Board top management. He / She will be responsible for the oversight of all Anti-Corruption aspects of the ACB, including but not limited to small and large scale Anti-Corruption law, ACB policies and Anti-Corruption procedures and other principles imposed by the ICC. Anti-Corruption Manager will work closely with all ACB departments in relation to interface and reporting of all Anti-Corruption information to the ACB top management.

Job Summary:

The role of the Anti-Corruption Manager is a key role and shall work under the guidance & supervision of Afghanistan Cricket Board top management. He / She will be responsible for the oversight of all Anti-Corruption aspects of the ACB, including but not limited to small and large scale Anti-Corruption law, ACB policies and Anti-Corruption procedures and other principles imposed by the ICC. Anti-Corruption Manager will work closely with all ACB departments in relation to interface and reporting of all Anti-Corruption information to the ACB top management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead or coordinate investigations and conduct investigation of match officials, players and supporting staff when and if required.
  • Sharing of information and intelligence with ICC and other related cricket governing body which helps improve the overall intelligence picture of corruption.
  • Investigation of all those cases, reports which are under jurisdiction of Afghanistan Cricket Board Anti-Corruption code.
  • Anti-Corruption related report and cases result sharing with the top management.
  • Strictly following up the domestic and international events with ICC from the Anti-Corruption prospective.
  • Attend ICC & ACC Anti-Corruption training and workshops.
  • Lead the communication of Anti-Corruption relevant issues with ICC and ACC. 
  • Drafting & presenting players and match official corruption reports to top management and ICC/ACC.
  • Covering all types of events nationally and internationally.
  • Monitoring match officials and players during national & international events.
  • Lead and participate in the evaluation of Anti-Corruption risk.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures and controls (i.e., the program) in order to address identified risks.
  • Lead due diligence of third parties and transactions.
  • Lead in developing and participate (with Human Resources department for example) in implementing anticorruption training.
  • Based on monitoring results and other inputs, develop a plan for the improvement of Anti-Corruption program, setting goals and timelines for improvement.
  • Report to ACB top management and Anti-Corruption Committee on the current status of the Anti-Corruption efforts and highlight and prioritize areas of concern.
  • Arrange Anti-corruption related educational programs and trainings workshop to players, players support personnel & match officials.
  • Any other related tasks assigned by line supervisor. 

Job Requirement:

  • Master Degree with 5 years Experience
  • Bachelor Degree with 7 years Experience
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Good Communication and inter-personal skills
  • Fluent in English, Pashto & Dari
  • Professional report writing skills
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, prioritizing skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a team member in varied activities
