List of ICC Approved Manufacturers

ICC Approved Manufacturers

Only those companies who appear on the list are permitted to display their logo on clothing and/or equipment used/worn in international cricket. A manufacturer whose name does not appear on the list cannot display its logos in international cricket until such time as the company has received our approval. Details on the process for approval can be obtained from Clive Hitchcock - clive.hitchcock@icc-cricket.com.

Please note that there are 3 categories of approved manufacturer:

  • A company that is permitted to display its logo on clothing and equipment,
  • A company that is permitted to display its logo on equipment only, and
  • A company that is permitted to display its logo on clothing only.

Copy of the revised Clothing and Equipment Regulations for International cricket. This version has been updated to 

  • A new section on home and away contrasting coloured kit for televised ODI/T20I white ball matches (section E on page 
  • Confirmation that the wearing of a helmet is not mandatory but if one is worn it must be certified to the BS7928.2013 standard from 1st January 2017 onwards (page 19.49). There is a phase in period up to 1st January 2017, thereafter all helmets worn while batting in international cricket must be fully compliant with BS7928:2013.

Please note that the discretion of wearing a helmet continues to rest with the player, but if a player decides to wear a helmet then it has to be one which complies with the British Standard specifications. This is part of ICC’s duty of care to prevent a player from picking up a serious injury as a result of a misperception that the old style, non-compliant helmet being worn is 

  • Penalties for breaches of the regulation if a non-complaint helmet is worn on or after 1st January 2017 (Appendix 2 section 4.4 on page 19.60).
