First Annual General Meeting Held

The first Annual General Meeting of Afghanistan Cricket Board members held today at Kabul Serena hotel . All members of the Cricket board, each, the Minister of Finance Mr. Eklil Hakimi, the minister of Urban development;Mr. Sayed Sadat Naderi, the Legal Adviser to the president; Mr. Mohammad Ali Mohammadi, Mr. Hikmat Khalil Karzai, Deputy Minister Foreign Affairs; Mr. Faridoon Alham, Deputy Director General of Administrative Affairs Department on Public Awareness; Mr. Sayed Salman Sadad President Afghan Jet Airlines; Mr. Ahmad Shah Sangdil, the President of Dunya University ; the Chairman of Cricket Board Mr. Nasimullah Danish and the representative of Alokozai Group of Companies Mr. Mirwais Siyal participated in the meeting.Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan Cricket Board also participated in the meeting. 

The meeting began with the recitation of holy Quraan. After that, the chairman of Afghanistan Cricket Board Mr. Nasimullah Danish presented his speech. He welcomed all board members and congratulated them for the new responsibilities given to them by the President. Danish said, as a national symbol for unity Cricket has brought smile into faces of Afghan nation and the game has become the proud of Afghanistan in the world. Danish talked about the importance of the board members and mentioned that the first historical annual general meeting can improve the value of ACB on ICC level.  
Later; the special representative of president in Cricket affairs briefed the board members about the employment process of the chairman and CEO. After that, CEO of Cricket Board Shafiqullah Stanikzai presented a presentation regarding the history of Cricket and presented the action and budget plans of Afghanistan Cricket Board to the Board member. Stanikzai asked the board members for their support regarding Cricket development in the country. The board members approved the annual and budget plan of the Cricket Board and ended the meeting with the promise to keep support for Cricket in long term.
