Level 1 Umpiring Course Ended in Kabul

A four day level 1 umpiring course conducted with the support of Asian Cricket Council and Afghanistan Cricket Board ended today. Twenty five umpires participated in the course. Experienced international umpire Mahboob Shah was the trainer for the course where both theoretical and practical training was given to the participants. Chairman Afghanistan Cricket Board, Nasimullah Danish called such training courses valuable for the improvement of Cricket technically. Danish said that several training programs are planned for the capacity building of umpires and coaches which will be implemented in near future. CEO, Afghanistan Cricket Board congratulated the participants for completing the course successfully. He said the umpires are basic members of Cricket and named their role vital in the game. Stanikzai guided allthe players to apply the umpiring activities in their provinces.
