Nasimullah Danish started his work as the new chairman of Afghanistan Cricket Board while Shafiqullah Stanikzai is announced the new chief executive officer. The new leadership was hired by pattern in chief of the Board Dr. Ashraf Ghani for better preparation of national for the ICC world cup 2015. Afghanistan will play its first match on February, 18 in Canberra. Danish replaces Shahzada Masood who served as the chairman of the board since October, 2012 while Shafiqullah Stanikzai replaced Dr. Noor Mohammad Murad. The changes are made by His Excellency the president of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Mohammad Ashraf himself to bring in fresh wave of perspective and ideas towards the growth of Cricket in Afghanistan. In the news conference held at ACB Danish said that he will develop and implement a 10-year strategic plan for the development and improving of the Cricket in Afghanistan. He added that becoming a full member is our top priority and we are hopeful to become full member within few years. Stanikzai said that, “we are committed towards bringing further reforms in the structure of Afghanistan Cricket Board and we will do our best for more success all over the world soon.” The new top management ended the conference with the note that they will ask for another conference soon and share plans with media soon.
