A 21 million AFN extension of Khost Cricket Stadium - featuring an extension stand. It is fourth cricket facility in the country and is being constructed on 12.3 acres of land.
Afghanistan Cricket Board hopes the expansion will be ready in eight months to play domestic session in 2017. The 5,000 seat extension to the Khost Cricket Stadium which will increase the capacity of the stadium to 15,000.

“This will be a considerable increase of seating for spectators and satisfy the demand of cricketers and fans. We are committed to provide standard cricketing facilities to the people of Afghanistan.” said Dost Muhammad Nazari.
Construction work will be done by Faizi Mujadidi Construction Company, the same partner constructing Kundz Cricket Ground which will be completed in March, 2017.
