ACB Chairman Nasimullah Danish visits Under-19 Training Camp

The Chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) Nasimullah Danish Thursday afternoon visited the Under-19 training camp and inspected the progress training camp. He was accompanied by Under-19 cricket team manager Mr. Naveed Sayam and Raees Ahmadzai coach of Afghanistan Cricket Team.

The ACB Chairman was given a briefing on the progress of players, skills enhancement and fitness. The ACB Chairman inspected training session of the players and expressed satisfaction with the quality of training.

The fitness trainer Mr. Khawaja Rohail Ali and Dawlat Ahmadzai Under-19 head coach and head of selection committee have promised for successful completion of this training on October 15, 2016.

More focus and exclusive fitness and skills enhancement training will be organized in India, where selected players will be participating. Final team will be selected for the Asia Cup, 2016 to be held in Sri Lanka from 8 to 22 December, 2016.

The Chairman said, “The players attending this training camp is the future of Afghanistan Cricket, we are committed to provide all the required experts trainers.”

ACB facilitated all players with the modern facilities like, living rooms, conference room, gymnasium, swimming pool, lecture rooms along with indoor school nets etc.

"It is my dream to see Under-19 team winning of Asia Cup this year. I have no doubt in my mind that in days to come, Afghanistan National Cricket would benefit from these Under-19 players," Nasimullah Danish said.
