Afghanistan to tour Bangladesh for the first time

Kabul: Bangladesh will host Afghanistan in Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur from September 25 - 30, 2016. Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be playing Three ODI matches.

Nasimullah Danish, Chairman of Afghanistan Cricket Board said, “This will be the first series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. We are looking forward for an entertaining cricket to the cricket lovers of Bangladesh.”

“We are in close discussion with ICC full members and successfully completed many tours with full members. Series of matches with full members prove that, Afghanistan cricket secured decent spot in cricketing world. It’s always good for our team development to test themselves in different conditions, and there’s no better place than Bangladesh to do that.”

1st ODI: September 25, 2016 in Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur

2nd ODI: September 28, 2016 in Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur

3rd ODI: October 1, 2016 in Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur

All games will be played at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
