Bowlers delivered fourth win in a row for Kabul Eagles after beating Boost Defenders by 36 runs on Sunday.
Kabul Eagles scored 145 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs.
Najeeb Tarakai was the top runs getter for Kabul Eagles, scoring 47 of 42 balls. However, it was Kabul Eagles bowlers particularly Amir Hamza and Karim Janat that proved difficult for Boost Defenders’ batsmen to face them as they picked up seven wickets.
Amir Hamza took 4/7 and Karim Janat took 3/32.
Boost Defenders captain Najibullah Zadran despite making 66 of 43, lost his wicket in a crucial stage of the innings as the team needed 36 of 20 balls.
After fall of his wicket it was all over for Boost Defenders as they have been bowled out for 109 in 17.3 overs.
Kabul Eagles with the win remained unbeaten in the tournament so far and occupying the first spot in the table with eight points.
In the next match of the tournament on Monday morning, Speen Ghar Tigers will face Mis Ainak Knights.
