Mis Ainak Knights beat Band-e-Amir Dragons by five wickets in the fourth Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL) in Kabul on Sunday.
Band-e- Amir Dragons scored 149 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Mohammad Nabi was 65 while Hashmatullah Shahidi scored 21 runs.
Mis Ainak Knights reached the target of 150 with a loss of five wickets in 19.1 overs. Ihsanullah Janat scored 47 runs followed by skipper Nowroz Mangal who made 41. Mis Ainak’s Mujeeb proved the most economical in the bowling department as he gave away only 13 runs in four overs taking also the wicket of opener Sikandar Raza.
The win was crucial for Mis Ainak as they were bottom placed on the points table. They have two wins and two losses in their record and a have got one more scheduled match to play. For Band-e-Amir Also situation is the same.
In the next match of the tournament on Sunday afternoon, Bost Defenders will face Kabul Eagles. Bost have not won a single match and are placed at the last position on the points table. Kabul have won all their three matches and are at the top of the table.
