Shahzad's blistering knock earns second win for Kabul Eagles in SCL

Kabul Eagles won their second match of fourth edition of the Alokozai Shpageeza Cricket League 2016, beating the Speen Ghar Tigers by seven wickets on Wednesday.  

Kabul Eagles after put in to chase down a total of 133 runs by Speen Ghar Tigers, the team had good start courtesy of Mohammad Shahzad’s quick fire 77 of 50 balls with six 6s and four 4s and a strike rate of 154 that made the chase of 133 look easy.

Speen Ghar Tigers after winning the toss posted a low total of 133 runs in their 20 overs.

The Openers, Shabir Noori and overseas player Nasir Jamshid had a good start, put up 66 runs partnership in eight overs, however the team lost their way with three quick wickets inside five overs, the rest adding only 66 runs more to the total.


Kabul Eagles’s Amir Hamza 13/2 and Rashid Khan 13/3 were the top bowlers of the match.

Earlier, Mis Ainak Knights beat Bost Defenders in the third match of the SCL 2016.

The next matches would be on Thursday (tomorrow), Band-e-Amir Dragons will face Boost Defenders and AMO Sharks will take on Mis Ainak knights.
