Afghanistan Cricket Board announced squad for 4-day match against Namibia

Kabul April 5, 2016: Mr. Dawlat Ahmadzi, national selection committee head picked up squad for 4-day match against Namibia for I-Cup match to be held in India from 10 – 13 April, 2016. 

Ahmadzai said he has selected a squad purely on merit and has said some young players are also considered. We have had to make some difficult decisions to get to our final squad but firmly believe that the 16 players selected offer the very best chance of success at the I-Cup.” 
? ?I would like to congratulate all players on their selection and wish Imran Jannat, Nawaz Khan, and the squad all the very best. Representing Afghanistan in the I-Cup is a huge honor and responsibility something all the players recognize.” Nasimullah Danish (Chairman Afghanistan Cricket Board). 
Shafiqullah Stanikzai, CEO of Afghanistan Cricket Board added that, “It is important that this squad continues to develop their 4-day skills quickly and players start to show the sort of consistency needed to succeed regularly on the world stage.”
