ICC Announce associate and affiliate panel of International umpires

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced the associate and affiliate panel of International umpires for Regional Tournaments, World Cricket League Divisional Tournaments, World Cricket League Championship and Intercontinental Cup. 

Afghanistan Cricket Board’s Chairman, Nasimullah Danish, congratulated Mr. Pakteen and Mr. Durrani on their elevation. “Their promotion is evidence to their hard work, as well as good decision-making and man-management skills over a period of time on the domestic panel. The ICC Umpire Selectors are confident that these two umpires will acquit themselves well at the top level, and that their selection will encourage umpires from all countries to aspire to elite panel selection if they are prepared to demonstrate the required ability, commitment and teamwork.”
Ahmad Shah Pateek 40-year-old was delighted with the news. “I am so happy thrilled to be promoted, it has to be the aim of every umpire to be appointed to this group.
“Congratulations to Mr. Ahmad Shah Pakteen and Mr. Ahmad Shah Durrni for their outstanding performance and appointment in ICC associate and affiliate panel of International umpires.” Shafiq Stanikzai, Afghanistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan Cricket board.
