Afghanistan Cricket Board selection committee announced the squads for Zimbabwe tour of Afghanistan. Afghanistan will play five One Day International and Two Twenty20 international matches on the tour. Four players will replace four players from the ODI squad.
The team will have a training camp before at Kabul before leaving to Zimbabwe. The training camp will start on 29th of September. The team will play three practice games before playing in the official games.
Afghanistan Cricket Board chairman Nasimullah Danish said that the squad selected for the games is a balanced squad and the selection committee has convinced them regarding the selection.
CEO Shafiqullah Stanikzai said that the team will enter to the ground with the best preparations. He added that the team will give great performance to beat a full member nation.
