Mr. Zadran family support for his cricketing desires was primarily lacking, and he went to his first Afghanistan trial. They've since been won over, and playing at the World T20, have made Shapoor's one of the most recognizable faces in Afghanistan cricket.
Charismatic Afghanistan fast blower Shapoor Zadran will join compatriot Virender Sehwag, Shahid Afridi, Herschelle Gibbs, Jacques Kallis and a host of other international cricketers for a charity match at the Kia Oval in London on September 17, 2015. Shafiq Ullah Stinakzai said, “This is honor for Afghanistan Cricket Board’s outstanding players will be playing with International players for charity match, he is Afghanistan’s representative in this charity. I am confident Mr. Shapoor presence will amuse fans of cricket.” The game will be headed by a Twenty20 match between the remarkable Help for Heroes Cricket Club and the England Physical Disability Team.
Help for Heroes XI captained by England Director of Cricket Andrew Strauss and managed by the great Ian Botham. They will take on a Rest of the World XI containing Brendon McCullum, Matthew Hayden, Mahela Jayawardene and Graeme Smith as well as players such as Kiwis Scott Styris and Daniel Vettori. The team will be coached by Gary Kirsten and managed by the renowned Indian Sunil Gavaskar.
