Bost beat Amoo in the on-going Alokozay-Ahmad Shah Abdali inter-regional 4-day Cricket tournament. The match was played in Ghazi Amanullah Khan International cricket stadium. Bost won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Amoo scored 106 score in their first innings. Javed Ahmadi was the top scorer with 59 runs. Nasim Barhesh took 6 wickets while Yamin Ahmadzai and Abdul Baqi took 2 wickets each. Bost scored 217 runs in their runs taking a lead of 111 runs. Munir Ahmad was the top scorer with 64 runs supported by 60-runs innings of Nasir Jamal. Mohammad Nabi lead the bowling attach of Amoo taking 6 wickets while Javed Ahmad added two wickets to his tally.
Bost managed to score 159 runs in their second innings. Khaiber Omar was the top scorer with 56 runs. They set a target of 48-runs to Bost. Abdul Baqi took 4 wickets while Yamin took 3 wickets of the opposite team. Bost chased the target after losing 4 wickets. Nabi took 2 wickets again in the innings. Nasim Barhis was named player of the match for his brilliant performance with the bowl.
Afghanistan Cricket Board chairman, Nasimullah expressed his pleasure for the success of the tournament. He added that the tournament has exposed young talent in Afghanistan.
CEO,Shafiq Stanikzai also praised the performance of young talent in the tournament and said the tournament the bright future of young talent in Afghanistan.
