ACC Champion National U-19 Team Arrives Back Home

Afghanistan national Under 19 (U-19) team arrives back after defending the Asian Premiere League championship in Malaysia. Welcome ceremony organized for the U-19 team in Kabul on September 6, 2015. Member of Afghanistan parliament, National and domestic players, cricket board employees and members of parliament participated in the welcome ceremony. “Under 19 team played very well and their stupendous performance will continue” Haji Azizullah Fazli Acting Chairman of Afghanistan Cricket Board said.

 Chief Executive Officer Afghanistan Cricket Board Shafiqullah Stanikzai named the achievements one of the great and wished the team for better performance in the future matches. He added that ACB would facilitate matches for U-19 team with Sri Lanka and India to get well prepared for upcoming ICC U-19 world cup. Mr. Stanikzai also praised and awarded 20,000 Afghanis to the national U-19 players.
 Member of Parliament Ms. Nasima Niazi said that this all mother of Afghanistan are proud of our cricket players. She appreciated efforts the efforts of cricket board. National U-19 team coach Mr. Dawlat Khan Ahmadzai praised ACB for the skill and facility of the cricket players. Finally the captain of U-19 team also acknowledged the nation for their support.
 Afghanistan national U-19 team left for Malaysia on 25th August to participate in Asian Premiere. The team had 45 days practice sessions in Kabul. The team beat Kuwait; Nepal; UAE; Saudi Arabia and the host Malaysia and placed at the top of the chart to hold up the winners trophy.
