Speenghar Region Registers Its First Victory at Alokozay-Ahmad Shah Baba 4-day Cricket Tournament

Speenghar beat Bost at the Alokozay-Ahmad Shah Baba inter-regional 4-day Cricket tournament. The match was played at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket stadium in Nangarhar. Speenghar won the toss and elected to bowl first. Bost scored 229 runs in their first innings. Rahimullah Khan was top scorer with 55 runs while Mohammad Mujtaba scored 44 runs.

 Speenghar scored 279 runs in their first innings. Samaiullah Shinwari was the top scorer with 86 runs while the skipper Shabbir Noori played 74-run knowck. Speenghar took the lead of 50 runs in the first innings. Nasim Barhais dismissed 5 batsmen of the opposite side.
 Bost made 188 runs in the second innings losing all wickets. Zamir Khan and Shabbir Noori took 3 wickets each against Bost. After getting the lead of 50 runs in the first inning the target set to Speenghar region was 139 runs.
 Speenghar chased down the target easily losing only 1 wicket in their second innings and won the match by 9 wickets. Najib Tarkai scored an 89 run knock while Shabbir Noori scored 51 not out runs. 
Shabbir Noori was awarded player of the match award for his all-round performance both with the bat and the ball.
