Afghanistan Earns Second Victory in Asian Premiere League

Afghanistan U-19 earned a huge victory against Nepal in the Asian Premiere League. Nepal won the toss and elected to bat first. Nepal scored 123 in 48 overs and set a target of 124 to Afghanistan. Ziaurahman and Parviz Malikzai took 3 wickets each while Naveen-ul-Haq and Karim Jannat added 1 wicket each into their tally. Afghanistan U-19 chased the target easily in 25th over of the match without losing any wicket. This is second consecutive victory of Afghanistan. Hazratullah Zazai scored 68 runs with the help of three sixes and six fours while Nasir Khan scored 58. Ziaurhaman was named player of the match. Afghanistan Cricket Board chairman Nasimullah Danish congratulated the national and said he believe that the U-19 team will earn more victories with their super performance. CEO Shafiqullah Stanikzai also congratulated the nation. He said that he is convinced with the selection of the team which is done on the basis of international standards. He said that the team combination and their professional game is the reason behind the success of the team.
