Afghanistan Registers Second Victory

Afghanistan beat UAE in their second match of ICC T20 qualifier tournament. United Arab Emirates won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 164/6 in 20 overs. Mohammad Shahazad was the leading scorer with 43 runs. Mirwais Ashraf and Hamid Hassan took 2 wickets each. 

Afghanistan chased the target in the 18th over of the match. Shahzad scored an entertaining 37 ball 74 runs. The skipper Asghar Stanikzai scored 44 not out while Samiullah Shenwari scored unbeaten 30 runs. Shahzad was named player of the match.
 The CEO of Afghanistan Cricket Board, Shafiqullah Stanikzai congratulated the whole nation for the consecutive victory. He added that the consecutive victory of the teams proves the talent of our national team and the team will easily qualify to world cup.   
Chairman, Afghanistan Cricket Board also congratulated the entire nation for the victory. He said that beating two tough competitors is the result of good preparation for the games and the technical game of the players. Danish added that he believes on the talent of the team and the team will qualify to the T20 world cup.
