The rise of cricket in Afghanistan over the last decade has been an extraordinary story in the world of sports. The rapid growth of cricket in the country and the simultaneous success of the National Cricket Team has resulted in cricket being the most popular sport in Afghanistan. Cricket fans across Afghanistan and beyond have developed immense interest in the game of cricket and the National Cricket Team’s participation in both domestic and international cricketing events is closely followed and draw large crowds at the grounds and followers on Television, print media and the internet.
The Afghanistan Cricket Federation was established in 1995 and Afghanistan was granted affiliate membership by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2001. Afghanistan was granted associate membership of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in 2003. The president of the country issued a decree on 2nd June 2009 which made Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) an independent governing body for the development and promotion of the game of cricket in the country. In 2013, Afghanistan was granted Associate Member status of ICC following notable progress in different areas of administration and development of the game. Afghanistan obtained Full Membership of ICC in June 2017 to become one of the 12 Full Member nations.
Develop M&E tools and standards for ACB activities and actively monitor the implementers, find performance gaps, provide recommendations and follow up findings with relevant departments as well as build the capacity of implementer staff to carry out the monitoring and measuring progress.

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Make sure the M&E activities addressing the priorities envisioned in the ACB and measure the progress towards achieving its goals and benchmarks.
Ensure a reporting schedule is established, regularly updated, monitored, and compliance ensured for ACB all departments.
Ensure that M&E relevant standards are applied by all departments including the technical
Develop M&E standards and guidelines for the ACB in close collaboration with departments head
Compile the monitoring and evaluation reports of all departments involved in any tournaments or any other big event
Support all departments of ACB in meeting internal and external reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly, and annual) through drafting and/or editing relevant narratives and providing relevant analysis of related department to ensure timely and quality development and submission/distribution of reports to ACB chairman.
As requested, provide content quality assurance, thorough editing, and data verification of all information to the departments
Facilitate development of information flow and file maintenance procedures to achieve maximum clarity and efficiently in information access and use
In close collaboration with departments head, ensure effective follow up on departments plan frameworks and mapping and analysis the progress
In coordination with departments head, provide analytical and administrative support to ACB other departments
In collaboration with departments head, contribute to development of management information systems, problem tree analysis, tracking related benefits and indicators
Ensure that M&E relevant feedback and comments are followed up regularly with implementer partners and relevant departments
Conduct site visits to the regional offices as needed
Implementation and adherence of reporting system that is in full compliance with ACB reporting requirements.
Any other tasks may assigned by head of department
Travels to Provinces
Require Travels to Provinces
1. Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft word and Excel
2. Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading of English, Dari and Pashto languages is required
3. Excellent communication and personnel management Skills.
4. Ability to work under heavy work load and healthy/tidy behavior.
5. Familiarity with existing laws and regulations applicable to the personnel management aspects of the ACB staff.
University Degree in Business administration, or any closely related disciplines.
6 years of professional experience in M&E field
